This race starts in Port Huron to fanfare and spectators lining the Black and St. Clair Rivers, and takes competitors on a wonderful journey up one of Michigan's crown jewels, where they are treated to spectacular sunrises and sunsets, natural wonders, and if really lucky, a show from the northern lights. Every run up the lake is a different one, but they all finish in Mackinac Island where they meet families and friends, tell stories of victory and defeat, and enjoy the best party the sailing world has to offer.

Bermuda One-Two 2007
This race begins Sat, June 9. On June 18, 1979, 20 solo sailors crossed the starting line at Newport, Rhode Island and nosed out into the North Atlantic to challenge the ocean and each other in a grueling 635-mile single-handed race to St. George’s, Bermuda. In boats ranging from 22 to 41 feet in length, these sailors were the pioneer participants in the first running of what has now become a biennial tradition - the Bermuda One-Two.

2007 Marion to Bermuda
Beginning Friday June 15 and Saturday June 16, the Marion to Bermuda race experience is fantastic; the beat out of the Bay, the storms and the calms, the Gulf Stream guessing game and the smell of bougainvillea as you approach Bermuda and the finish line at St. David's Light. It has been a wonderful 30 years, starting from a race that began with two old sailing buddies talking about racing from Marion to Bermuda and inviting their friends, to each boat being tracked through satellite navigation for all the world to follow.
