Phew! Congratulations to Bugaboo! I'm so glad you guys went out to tow him in ... I imagine he got asloshed with love and kisses from his wife and family...might the webmaster get him to post some details of his adventure online or do we have to wait 'til he gets home...
I was talking to the guys at his Marina and we talked about stuff like...how much food and water did he have? Did he really lose his electronic capacity? He had handheld GPS? Could anyone go out there and give him provisions?
I DID tie a yellow ribbon on the dock piling near his slip. Everyone will be glad to know he is safe in Bermuda. His dream come true and I'm sure he conquered any and all demons along the way. When I read Skipper Harris's log and HE mentions terror...well, that will leave me in the coastal sailor ranks!
Will his wife let him do the second leg back???????? Looking forward for the second part of the race.
