Hannibal, Missouri, America’s Hometown

Robert and his wife stopped in at the Hannibal Convention & Visitor’s Bureau on Saturday, Oct 25. I enjoyed hearing some of Robert's adventures that he has encountered on the mighty Mississippi. Today, Sunday, Oct 26, there is a wind advisory of winds of around 30mph and gusts to 45mph. Tonight, there is a freeze warning, upper 20’s to 30. Keep moving and stay warm Robert! Wishing you the best---Susan

Hi, Susie, this is Deborah, Robert's wife. Thanks for logging into the discussion board. We really enjoyed our visit to Hannibal. It is a beautiful little town. I see why you are so proud of it. I drove Robert back to Keokuk this morning and put him in the river early enough to get past the lock and set up camp before the wind kicked up. He will start back up as soon as things calm down. Probably pass through Hannibal again by Tuesday. I'm back in Austin, Texas where it is 70! Stay warm. Deborah
