Robert's Tracker

Hi All,

Does anyone know how to get in touch with Robert? I noticed that his tracker hasnt transmitted since yesterday and I'm afraid that the electronic guts may have malfunctioned (which has happened in the past). If so, I would like to get him one overnight ASAP. Thank You!

Sincerely,
George

George,
Thank you so much for sharing my concern, but he stopped at New Madrid to take in a Museum. There wasn't a secure spot for his things, so he brought the tracker into the Hotel with him. He won't be back on the river until tomorrow.

He didn't call me until late last night - I was getting concerned. I think he got my point when I fussed at him.

OK, phew, I was thinking something was wrong with the tracker. As soon as he puts the unit back in it's original spot, it will start talking to the satellites again. When the unit is inside a building without a clear view of the sky, it significantly attenuates the signal resulting in failure...until it tries again 2 hrs. later :D

Thanks!
