Location of Boat Dock and Events for Wednesday

Beginning April 27, the Regata del Sol al Sol races from Tampa Bay to Isla Mujeres. The first race of the series was in 1969. According to earlier races, the sailors were saying, "There is no other regata like this one. The whole community comes out to welcome you."

Hello, is anyone there?

At the last minute I've decided to fly to Isla Mujeres and will arrive tomorrow. I'm trying to meet up with Otis (Captain of THUNDERBIRD), and the crew.

I'd greatly appreciate it if you could let me know the following:

Where are the boats docked?
Where will the scheduled events : "Rum and Coke Party" and the "Basketball game" take place tomorrow?

Thank you for your assistance!!!

Otis is docked at the very end of the Lima fuel docks, outside Minnow, a large multihull.
Otis is spending a lot of time in Cancun trying to get his rudder rebuilft, they lost it during the race off of Cuba. Minnow, turned around, dropped out of the race and towed them all the way to Isla, what a commendable job on their part.

Paddly,

I spoke to Otis and crew, they weren´t sure who you were, all I had for a name is this forum, Paddly.
I sat with them at the awards and they still weren´t sure who you were, or if you had made it to the island. They were planning on leaving the island yesterday, Saturday, which they did. So, I hope you did make contact with them previously to them leaving.

Glad to see you were so involved in the race, next year will be the 40th race, you will definitely enjoy it again.

Good Luck,

Phil
