INDIGO; YOU ARE LOOKING GREAT FROM THE START AND GAINING ON THE FIELD. I send a salute to the crew and a special hello to Bill Murphie. The first time at sea is especially rewarding at it appears that he chose the right boat!! Sail hard, fast and safely. REBII

 Hi there INDIGO crew. It's great fun sailing along with you from my computer chair. You are doing an awesome job and I feel it in my bones that when I wake up in the morning and check your progress you will be closer to three boats that are only about 30 nm ahead of you. Have a great night and keep the wind behind you.

:D Keep pushing INDIGO crew! You're doing a great job. You've picked up speed since 10:00 p.m. last night. It looks like that change you made in your direction worked in your favor. Keep the course and remember to have fun. What an opportunity to experience this adventure!!

 WAY TO GO INDIGO CREW. Only 94 nm left in the race. You have sailed about 165 miles since approx. 10:00 last night. You are obviously working very hard and making good choices in your navigation of this course. We are cheering for you back home. No matter what place you take - - YOU PLACED FIRST WITH YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS WATCHING FROM HOME!!!!

Re: GO INDIGO - YOU MOVED FROM 10TH PLACE TO 7TH !!!!

Postby sunrise » Wed Jun 18, 2008 7:34 am

 WAY TO GO INDIGO - YOU HAD 10TH POSITION LAST NIGHT AT 10:00 P.M. (CENTRAL TIME) AND WHAT A THRILL IT WAS TO SEE "7/7" BEHIND INDIGO'S NAME UPON LOGGING IN THIS MORNING. YOU ONLY HAVE 31 NM LEFT TO GO. I PREDICT YOU WILL BE HITTING THE FINISH LINE IN TIME FOR LUNCH TODAY!!! YOU GUYS MUST BE EXHAUSTED, BUT FIND THAT RUSH THAT WILL PUSH YOU TO THE FINISH LINE.

:o WE ARE ALL TRYING TO FIGURE OUT IF INDIGO ACTUALLY WON FIRST PLACE OR NOT - YOU WERE IN 10TH, THEN 7TH, THEN 1ST, THEN 4TH, THEN 1ST AGAIN. WE ARE FIGURING THE POSITION MUST HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH "HANDICAPPING". WE DON'T CARE ABOUT ALL OF THAT -- INDIGO IS FIRST WITH US AND WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU GUYS. WAY TO GO INDIGO!!

Hi, sunrise. Since the race committee hasn't entered any finish times, the leaderboard gets confused since all the trackers keep reporting, even while boats are bobbing around the finish line sipping rum & coke.

So until the RC gives iBoattrack some finish times, I'm afraid that you'll have to remain in suspense and/or keep checking the official site (http://www.bermudaoceanrace.com/).

 Okay, now the Sunrise crew understands that until the race committee issues its final verdict, anything's possible. As stated earlier, INDIGO, you are number one in our hearts, but we will wait patiently for the "official" race results. Meanwhile, we hope you guys are sitting around sipping your rum drinks and having a great time revisiting your adventure.
