I know we're down to the WIRE in the race, but I needed to make some changes to the google mapper. It should now feel more like the original mapper w/ the new My Boats addition. I was careful to keep from breaking any of your cookie settings, but if something is wrong or you strongly object to the new format, please let us know here!

I found a bug that I just fixed -- it wasn't clearing out old positions to make space for new ones. Sorry about that.

Thanks for the kind words. We're trying to push the envelope w/ something new each year, and it's very valuable to have positive and negative feedback. And it's valuable to have a bunch of testers whether or not they realize they're being exploited!

Any possibility of getting the position coordinates for the racers (i.e., time and location data)? I know you allow downloads for other events. Maybe I missed it for this event.

Sure, if you're looking to download data by boat, visit the leaderboard and click on a boat name. On the page that pops up (with the map) there is a blue link at the top that will allow you to download the raw data. From there you can view it as text or as a CSV which you could pop into Excel or something similar.
