Sorry, ahnorm and Prada 1, I don't have any info on these boats. If some positional info comes to me through the 2 positoins per day phone call, I'll be sure to post it.

thanks so musch cpurvis. This makes the race much more exciting at home even though I can't get the information on my particular boat. It is still great work.

Ocean Angel

Postby s/v HyLyte » Sat Apr 29, 2006 3:57 pm

Do you have any information on Ocean Angel's tracking? The position has not up-dated since 10:30 this morning! (She's our sister-ship with lots of our friends aboard).

Any information will be appreciated.

Ocean Angel must be really popular! I just replied to someone asking that same question.

Hi, clashwoman. You're right. That's the most recent postion we've received. It will hopefully pick back up and start sending info after every even hour like it should. Please check back after the next round which will be reported between 4:00 and 4:30. Sorry about this. I hope it catches back up!

I hope to see some positional info soon; I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Spindra

It appears from the 1800 positions that Spindra has retired and is approaching Ft. Myers.... any confirmation of Spindra's situation?

0800 reports

Postby frank » Sun Apr 30, 2006 10:37 am

Everyone seems to be positioned from an 0800 update except Destiny, who has been leading the Spinnaker class... their latest is 0600.... any clue for the missing 0800 report from them?

What's up with Relentless

Postby Tom » Sun Apr 30, 2006 11:44 am

I was just wondering if there is an updated fix on the Relentless. Last I heard they were about 14 miles ahead of China Doll, but the map still shows them at the start. Are they not calling in their locations?
Thanks for the help.

Does anybody know why Relentless is not reporting

I now noticed that Relentless has been removed from the view. Why is this? I called the Yacht club and they advised that they "forgot" their transponder. When we talked to the crew (they have been calling home via satallite phone) they said they are calling in and not many boats opted for the transponder. Why is this not being tracked????

Hi, Lindsey. Unfortunately, I haven't received any of the phoned-in points to enter in manually. The moment I do, I'll pop them back up.

reporting to race comm

Postby SailBRacer » Sun Apr 30, 2006 5:02 pm

Lindsey,

The better question is, why are these boats wasting their time reporting to the race comm and no one is passing the info along to friends and relatives of the crew?

See Ya.....
